• Limited Time Points are granted for participating in special promotions and have their own unique valid period. After the valid period has passed they automatically expire.
  

  *Some Limited Time Points expire on dates other than the end of the month, e.g. the 15th - please check the dates.

• When you have both ordinary points and Limited Time Points you use them starting with the Limited Time Points.
• The valid period for Limited Time Points is the period to use the points. If your actual use of the service falls after the valid period for the points then you can use the points.

  (e.g. when the dispatch date of a pre-ordered item, dates of lodging for Rakuten travel, dispatch date for Rakuten Books falls after the valid period)

• Even if you have Limited Time Points, if your total balance is minus then you cannot use them. As soon as your balance becomes positive you can use the Limited Time Points.
